The High Clinic

How it works

From registering to holding a prescription, usually in one sitting.

Here is the whole thing, honestly, including the parts where it might not go your way.
  1. 1

    Create an account

    2 minutes

Name, email, date of birth. We ask you to register before the conversation starts — partly so your record has somewhere to live, and partly because it keeps the doctors' time for people who actually want to be seen.

No payment details at this stage. Nothing is charged here.

  2. 2

    The intake conversation

    3–5 minutes

A guided conversation, in writing, at your own pace. It asks why you're here, what your condition has been like, what you have already tried, whether you have used cannabis before, and it makes sure you understand what a prescription does and doesn't mean.

If you go quiet for more than 15 minutes the session closes itself and nothing is charged. You can start again whenever you like.

  3. 3

    A doctor picks it up

    At the same time

The doctor is notified the moment your session opens, and receives a written summary of everything you have said, ready to read. They go through it, ask any follow-up questions themselves, and then tell you where they stand.

You are not always talking to the doctor directly — and we will always tell you which is which.

  4. 4

Payment, only if it's a yes

    1 minute

If the doctor confirms they will issue a prescription, you're asked to pay for the consultation — the price you saw when you chose it, at the start. All payments are processed by Stripe or Viva Wallet. If the answer is no, the session ends here and costs you nothing.

The fee is for the consultation, not for the medicine. The medicine is paid for at the pharmacy.

  5. 5

    Your prescription is issued

    Within seconds

The doctor issues it through Η.ΔΙ.Κ.Α., the Greek national e-prescription system, using their own credentials. How it reaches you depends on your paperwork — to your phone if you have paperless activated, otherwise to your email.

Then you rate the session out of five. We read every one of them.

The part people ask about

Where the conversation stops being a form and starts being a doctor.

The intake collects your history in advance and writes it up, so the doctor has it in front of them the moment they open your case instead of gathering it from scratch. That is the whole of its job, and it is why you wait minutes rather than days. It does not examine you, it does not assess you, and it decides nothing.

What the intake does

  • Asks the standard history questions, in plain language
  • Follows up when an answer needs more detail
  • Records your answers in your own words
  • Hands the doctor a tidy write-up, ready to read

What only the doctor does

  • Judges whether medical cannabis is appropriate for you
  • Asks the clinical questions that actually matter
  • Chooses the product, the form and the quantity
  • Issues — or declines to issue — the prescription

If the answer is no

A no is a real outcome, and it costs you nothing.

A doctor may decide that medical cannabis is not appropriate for you — because the indication isn't there, because something else should be tried first, or because your history raises something that needs handling differently. When that happens they will tell you why, you will not be charged, and you are welcome to come back if things change.

It starts with a conversation.

Registration takes a minute. The intake conversation is free, and you only pay if a doctor confirms they will issue your prescription.
